A pre-sorted list of database categories that highlight particularly helpful databases for various spheres of research is available in the menu on the left side of this page. For a comprehensive list of all SBTS databases available for direct searching, please see the alphabetical listing of databases. Databases are used for identifying, locating, and in many cases, accessing information relevant to your research topics. The formats are primarily serials such as journals, but also include access to helpful reference materials and digital archives.
Begin by selecting an appropriate category then choose a database in order to begin searching. Descriptions of each database’s purpose and domain can be found by selecting a broad research area from the list provided.
