The HathiTrust
HathiTrust offers full-text searching across the almost 7 million digitized texts in their repository (including public domain and in copyright works). It is a shared digital repository for several of the great research libraries in North America, and exists to “To build a reliable and increasingly comprehensive digital archive of library materials converted from print that is co-owned and managed by a number of academic institutions.” Works in the HathiTrust repository which are in the public domain are accessible to all users with no login or password required.

This database indexes more than 500 scholarly journals and magazines and provides some full text for all but one of these titles. Coverage for most titles begins in the early 1990s.
