This week we updated our wireless network in the library. This upgrade provides better connectivity throughout the library, more expansive coverage within the library, and much faster network speeds. Students can connect to the new wireless network the same way they connect to the wireless network in other campus buildings. Guests to the library can find information on guest connections at the circulation desk. If anyone has a question or problem connecting to the new network, please see someone at the circulation desk for assistance.
The Archives and Special Collections currently has on display a number of its shorter manuscripts. The display includes letters from prominent Baptists of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. The collection is on display until September 30 and is available for viewing from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday in the Billy Graham Room on the second floor of the library.
The James P. Boyce Centennial Library would like to announce the beta test of a new web service designed to deliver the table of contents from some of our most frequently used journals and serials to our faculty and students. JTOC, short for Journal Table of Contents, is a an application that provides online delivery of this content through a series of web pages and RSS feeds. JTOC allows students and faculty to keep abreast of what the library acquires in their field or favorite journals. To begin using JTOC, please visit http://library.sbts.edu/jtoc.
