Boyce Library Coffee Mugs

September 21st, 2007 • Paul Roberts

In our continued efforts to make the Boyce Library a place for students and faculty to research and relax in a comfortable atmosphere, we are announcing our new James P. Boyce coffee mugs. They are designed to minimize the potential for spills in the library while giving you the freedom to drink coffee in the library.

These mugs will give you a 25 cent discount on coffee at the Founders Cafe, and to further encourage you to purchase one for use in the library we are offering a $5 forgiveness on outstanding library fines! Just bring your receipt.

Mugs must be purchased at the campus store, 5th & Broadway.

Library Elf

August 14th, 2007 • Robb Brunansky

Are you looking for a way to avoid having library fines? Do you wish that you could keep up with your public library account and your seminary library account in one place? LibraryElf may be just what you need. LibraryElf is a free online service that helps you manage the library loans associated with your various accounts. Once you set up an account with LibraryElf, you can receive email or RSS alerts to notify you of approaching due dates before the fines catch up to you.

LibraryElf is compatible with library accounts at SBTS, LPTS, and the Louisville Free Public Library.

Real and Virtual Facelifts

If you are reading this and have previously visited the library’s web pages, you will immediately notice that much has changed. For several months members of the library staff have been planning and developing this new web site that enables us to serve you better today and going forward.

If you have used the library building in the past, you will also notice that a number of changes and improvements were made over the summer to the main floor. We hope you like our new look.

Send me an email if you have comments or suggestions.
