The Kiffen Room (named for William Kiffen, a 17th century Particular Baptist leader) is a reading group sponsored by the Boyce Library. It is dedicated to reading and discussing Baptist history, theology, and identity.
Join us during the fall semester as we read “The Mystery of Christ: His Covenant and His Kingdom” by Samuel Renihan. This is an excellent volume surveying the biblical and theological themes associated with historic Baptist Covenant Theology.
The Kiffen Room will meet in the Charleston Room (Room 114) from 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM on selected Wednesdays. See the schedule below for dates and readings:
- September 3: Chapters 1-3
- September 24: Chapters 4-5
- October 8: Chapters 6-8
- October 22: Chapters 9-11
- November 5: Chapters 12-14
