Requesting Articles/Scans

Requesting Articles

How to Request

  1. Search for the Article: Use Boyce Library’s online databases to find the article you need using information such as the title and author. For theological studies, the ATLA Religion Database is a great resource.
  2. Use the Articles Tab: The Articles tab in our Library Search Bar searches ATLA, Academic Search Complete, Christian Periodical Index, and Old and New Testament Abstracts.
  3. Check for Full-Text Availability: Articles with full text available will display links for HTML Full Text or PDF Full Text. If full text is not available, use additional links to check WorldCat or Google Scholar.
  4. Request the Article: If the article is not available, click the Request This Item button on WorldCat. Fill out the required fields marked with an asterisk (*) and click “Submit.” No confirmation email will be sent.
  5. Notification and Delivery: When your requested article arrives, we will send it to you via email with an expiring link.
