What is Metroversity?
Metroversity is a consortium of eight institutions of higher education that allows SBTS and Boyce College students and faculty privileges to borrow from more than four million volumes, housed in libraries throughout the Louisville area. If you are a student at one of the eight Metroversity institutions, you can access library resources from any of the other institutions.
SBTS and Boyce College students, faculty, and staff may use the reference services and borrow books from any of these libraries by showing their SBTS shield card. Contact these libraries before arrival to ensure that you have the proper credentials and know their specific procedures.
The institutions that participate in Metroversity are:
- Bellarmine
- IU Southeast
- Ivy Tech Sellersburg
- Jefferson Community and Technical College
- Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary
- The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
- Spalding Library
- University of Louisville
