- Click Web Print > Submit a Job.
- Select a printer (e.g. Anywhere-BW), then click through the prompts to upload your PDF document.
- Once uploaded, you may release print job on the copier as normal.
Scanning
Any library patron may use the printer scanning function to scan files to email or USB free of charge. The copiers are equipped to scan documents in black and white. Documents can be scanned using custom settings for resolution, dimensions, etc. Files will scan as .pdf file type by default.
- On the copier, press (the copier “home” icon) to find scan functions.
- Insert the email address or insert the USB flashdrive into the copier.
- Choose the settings desired and begin scanning.
For minor technical assistance, please see the library staff at the main circulation desk. For other issues, contact Campus Technology (ext. 4006).
Respect Copyright
Library patrons are expected to respect copyright and intellectual property rights. To check if a certain usage complies with applicable laws, see the Fair Usage Checklist and the official copyright website.
Troubleshooting
Copiers may generate files too large to be sent or received via email. Gmail and Yahoo have 25MB attachment limits. If you do not receive your scan:
- Scan it again in monochrome or grayscale instead of color.
- Reduce the scan resolution (300dpi is usually recommended for electronic readers).
- Send your scan to an USB drive instead of email.
